CONCEPT

The survivors of this last ordeal of serious ethnic cleansing, whether they were wives, mothers with infants or children, spoke of being punched, kicked and beaten while boarding the buses driven by Serbs. They were given neither food nor water during the course of the trip, which was 70 kilometers long and went through rugged mountain terrain in Eastern Bosnia. It was obvious they had no other choice but to board the buses.
