NEW YORK – UN ALARM
Various levels at the UN were alarmed that violence had been inflicted, or was being inflicted, against the men of Srebrenica, but at that time nothing had been confirmed.
A special envoy from the Secretary General of the UN was sent to continue with the renewal of negotiations with Bosnian Serb officials at the highest levels, and if deemed appropriate, with authorities in Belgrade.
