BRATUNAC- KONJEVIC POLJE – NOVA KASABA
VRS - COLUMN
During the next three days the column progressed north, largely at night, and when possible found shelter in the forest.
Groups that broke off from the column made their way (0100 hours) to the main road between Konjevic Polje and Nova Kasaba. The groups managed to cross the road only by dawn. VRS forces had attempted to prevent their crossing. The last large groups crossed the asphalt road in Svilima around 0600 hours, at which point any further movement was impossible, as the VRS had placed a large force at the site.
In the morning hours, the village Pobude and its surrounding areas lying between the Bratunac-Konjevic Polje-Nova Kasaba road were blockaded, stranding around 8,000 people.
