Before the end of the day UNPROFOR headquarters in Sarajevo sent a report to UNPROFOR Zagreb on that day's events in Srebrenica.
The report stated that observation post "Foxtrot" had fallen, that one Dutch soldier had been killed after the ARBiH opened fire on their APC, that the VRS had overrun observation post "Uniform" and that its crew had been detained and brought to Bratunac in territory under the control of the Bosnian Serbs, and that observation post "Sierra" was surrounded. The report said the aim of the Bosnian Serbs was to limit the size of the enclave for the sake of its better control, and that their actions were in retaliation to casualties suffered in Muslim attacks in previous months. The report also stated that ARBiH soldiers and civilians had begun to gather around the base of B Company in Srebrenica, and that the situation had grown very tense.
